Overview

10x Genomics is establishing a diagnostics effort, translating their industry-leading single-cell and spatial assay technologies into impactful clinical applications. The Sr. Scientist will be central to deriving clinically meaningful insights from large-scale genomics datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement rigorous computational and statistical methods for single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data analysis
  • Derive actionable insights from clinical and translational datasets
  • Design and validate biomarkers for diagnostic applications
  • Implement and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for reproducible data processing at scale (hundreds to thousands of samples)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with biology, assay development, and product teams

Requirements

  • PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of post-PhD industry experience in single-cell NGS data analysis
  • Extensive hands-on experience with single-cell and/or spatial transcriptomics
  • Strong programming skills (Python and/or R)
