Overview
10x Genomics is establishing a diagnostics effort, translating their industry-leading single-cell and spatial assay technologies into impactful clinical applications. The Sr. Scientist will be central to deriving clinically meaningful insights from large-scale genomics datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement rigorous computational and statistical methods for single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data analysis
- Derive actionable insights from clinical and translational datasets
- Design and validate biomarkers for diagnostic applications
- Implement and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for reproducible data processing at scale (hundreds to thousands of samples)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with biology, assay development, and product teams
Requirements
- PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of post-PhD industry experience in single-cell NGS data analysis
- Extensive hands-on experience with single-cell and/or spatial transcriptomics
- Strong programming skills (Python and/or R)
