Salary: $153,000 – $210,100 base pay
The CELLxSTATE Program decodes cellular decision-making through imaging, multi-omics, and AI technologies. This role leads image analysis for the Optical Pooled Screening (OPS) program, combining data science, engineering, and cell biology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable image analysis pipelines for large-scale fluorescent microscopy datasets
- Integrate multi-modal data types (imaging, multi-omics) into unified, AI-ready datasets
- Advance bio-image analysis including segmentation and cell tracking
- Implement QC metrics across experimental and computational pipelines
- Publish findings via preprints, papers, and GitHub repositories
Requirements
- PhD in Computational Biology, Biology, or Computer Science (or MSc + 4 years experience)
- Minimum 4 years Python-based image analysis or scientific computing
- Proficiency in Python, GitHub, Slurm HPC
- Knowledge of modern biological data formats: OME-Zarr, AnnData
- Experience designing workflows for large, complex biological datasets
