Salary: $153,000 – $210,100 base pay

The CELLxSTATE Program decodes cellular decision-making through imaging, multi-omics, and AI technologies. This role leads image analysis for the Optical Pooled Screening (OPS) program, combining data science, engineering, and cell biology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable image analysis pipelines for large-scale fluorescent microscopy datasets
  • Integrate multi-modal data types (imaging, multi-omics) into unified, AI-ready datasets
  • Advance bio-image analysis including segmentation and cell tracking
  • Implement QC metrics across experimental and computational pipelines
  • Publish findings via preprints, papers, and GitHub repositories

Requirements

  • PhD in Computational Biology, Biology, or Computer Science (or MSc + 4 years experience)
  • Minimum 4 years Python-based image analysis or scientific computing
  • Proficiency in Python, GitHub, Slurm HPC
  • Knowledge of modern biological data formats: OME-Zarr, AnnData
  • Experience designing workflows for large, complex biological datasets
