Research context
The position sits within the SATURNA research initiative, which aims to decode the dynamic choreography of RNA and translate these insights into diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for complex disorders. The role combines AI innovation with RNA-focused, context-aware biology.
Key responsibilities
- Develop independent and collaborative research programs within SATURNA.
- Mentor and supervise doctoral and master's students.
- Coordinate sub-projects and contribute to teaching and outreach.
- Lead publications; engage with SATURNA partners (academic and industry).
Qualifications
- PhD in computational biology, AI, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or applied mathematics.
- Strong publication record and scientific track record.
- Fluent in English; excellent communication and organisational skills.
